CCS Cougars Technology

In a technology-rich environment, teachers and students create, communicate, access information, and experience self-directed learning. To do this, Covenant Christian School utilizes Chromebooks for Education in 1st through 12th grade with a 1:1 ratio. These Chromebooks are specifically designed with students in mind and work seamlessly with Google's educational suites. Utilizing technology in these ways helps students learn to successfully navigate the technological world around them in a safe Christ-centered environment.

Covenant Christian School offers age-appropriate technology classes for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th-grade beginning with basic skills, keyboarding, digital citizenship, Internet safety, and data storage. Students then advance their way through computer components, Google Suites, advanced Business Computer models and calculations, Graphic Design, & Web Design.

In addition, we also offer advanced courses in Emerging Technologies and a Technology Internship. Emerging Technology is a project-based curriculum providing the exploration of emerging and futuristic concepts including 3D design and printing, app innovation, game design, augmented & virtual reality, drone technology and more. Our Technology Internship program provides students with a hands-on learning experience working directly with our Technology Director administering support throughout the campus. Students learn and actively engage in networking, computer repair, data management, installation and management of hardware/software, and much more.
